Course Description

1ST AID/CPR/AED FOR NON HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

This course is designed to cover first aid basics, CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants. This course will review:

Adult, Child & Infant CPR and First Aid
One and Two Rescuer
Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (conscious and unconscious)
Use of Automated External Defibrillation [AED] with CPR
Special Resuscitation Situations
Other Cardiopulmonary Emergencies
Certification is valid for 2 years

CPR/AED

In Person: Created for those who learn best in a traditional classroom environment, our in-person CPR/AED classes deliver the latest information and will also help you learn when and how to use an AED the right way.
Online: When you choose an online CPR/AED class, you can learn at your own pace – and in the comfort of your home. However, because online CPR/AED classes are completed virtually, you will not have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills to a certified instructor, which means that you may not meet the requirements for workplace safety certification.
Blended Learning: Featuring award-winning simulation learning, our blended learning programs combine self-paced, interactive instruction and in-person skills sessions. Blended Learning courses allow you to learn on your schedule, then demonstrate your skills to a certified instructor in a classroom setting.
Certification is valid for 2 years

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS [BBP]

Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace.
The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.
This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.
After taking this course, students should talk with their employer about their workplaces specific policies and procedures.
Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for 1 year.
